This technical report focuses on the tasks and responsibilities carried out during the 20 weeks industrial training at Tri Shaas Sdn. Bhd. as an IT Trainee. Throughout the training period, all tasks were performed according to the company workflow and requirements to ensure smooth daily operations. The student was mainly involved in tasks related to information technology and digital content development.
Basic Technical Support
Assisted in handling basic technical issues related to laptops and software.
Ensured devices were functioning properly to support daily operations.
Helped staff troubleshoot minor technical problems when required.
Printer Configuration & Maintainance
Involved in handling basic printer configuration and maintenance at Mydin Mart branches to ensure smooth daily operations.
Performed basic maintenance tasks such as replacing ink or toner and checking paper supply.
Ensures that printing activities can be carried out efficiently without affecting daily business processes.
Gained practical knowledge in handling printer devices and improved problem-solving skills in a real working environment.
Responsible for managing and recording IT equipment used in the office.
Utilized Microsoft Excel to collect and organize important details such as serial number, model name, and device specifications.

Performed crimping of network cables by arranging wires according to the correct color standard and attaching RJ45 connectors to ensure stable connectivity.

Participated in site visits to branches such as Taman Cahaya and Bagan Datuk to observe layouts, evaluate content ideas, and plan suitable shooting locations.

Throughout the industrial training at Tri Shaas Sdn. Bhd., the student has developed various technical and soft skills that are essential in a real working environment.
The student improved technical skills through tasks such as managing IT equipment, performing basic troubleshooting, handling printer configuration, and setting up network cables. In addition, the student gained practical experience in using software tools such as Microsoft Excel, CapCut, Canva, and other editing applications.
Through handling technical issues such as device errors, printer problems, and troubleshooting tasks, the student enhanced the ability to identify problems and apply appropriate solutions effectively.
The student developed skills in digital content creation, including video editing, graphic design, and content planning. The student also learned how to produce different types of content such as promotional videos, daily content, and event coverage.
The student developed better communication skills by interacting with staff and understanding task requirements. This also includes delivering content that meets the company’s expectations.
