Executive Summary

This report summarizes the industrial training carried out at Tri Shaas Sdn. Bhd. over a period of 20 weeks, from 5 January 2026 to 22 May 2026, as part of the Diploma in Information Technology programme at Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah. Throughout the training, the student was exposed to various tasks related to information technology and digital content development. The scope of tasks included managing IT equipment by recording laptop details such as serial numbers and specifications using Microsoft Excel, as well as providing basic technical support for minor hardware and software issues. In addition, the student was actively involved in digital content creation and social media management, including planning content ideas, producing videos and graphics using tools such as CapCut, Canva, and Affinity, and publishing content on platforms like TikTok and Facebook based on current trends. The student also participated in site visits to new branches such as Taman Cahaya and Bagan Datuk to observe the environment, plan content, and identify suitable shooting locations. Overall, the industrial training has provided valuable exposure and practical experience, allowing the student to develop both technical and soft skills such as creativity, problem-solving, and time management, which will be beneficial for future career development.
